I feel most readers are born to this path, in my particular case I inherited my substantial intuition from my grandmother who was a village psychic and tarot reader in Spain. I’d visit her in the summers and she taught me how to “tune into” the spirit world, to tune into what was alive around me, which we know as energy. She taught me Tarot and regular cards and how efficient they are as “tools” for connecting with a client, auras, and spirit.
Although I’d had several experiences as a child, connecting to spirit, I didn’t exactly understand what I was seeing or hearing or feeling until my grandmother taught me. For decades I practiced with friends and learned more about divination. I gave readings for fundraisers as well, until I simply fell into it. As more people sought my advice I began to realize that this was my calling and quit my regular job to read for people all over the world full time. I’ve been reading now for more than 40 years and half of those years I’ve been reading professionally.
What do you specialize in and how did you learn to specialize in that field?
People with a strong sixth sense or intuitive ability rarely “specialize” in anything, but learn with different methods of Divination. Using different tools, like astrology, tarot, crystal or fire gazing serve a strong purpose in growing your sixth sense.
I suppose my strongest way to connect would be through Tarot. The cards are much like Astrology in helping an individual figure out what path they are on and how their FREE WILL choice can alter the course of their future either good or bad. Secondly I’m proficient in connecting with those who have passed on. I find this particular skill to be more something I was born with, whereas Tarot is part of my heritage, study, and a simple tool I use to connect.
