2012 Horoscope

Your biggest problem in 2012 is that you're spoilt for choice and that this is such a powerful and dynamic year, with opportunities on both the personal and professional fronts, that it's almost as though several years have been crammed into just 12 months and you're left to work out how to balance this. This makes Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion's position in your home and family sector until the 12th June so important, for it gives you a chance to get things running smoothly and authentically on the home front, making your life as love and user friendly as possible. With life about to diversify in a major way during the course of the year, if you can build your castle and get your home life running smoothly, then this can become the hub that everything else radiates out from. If you have your home life running well, then everything else will fall into place. What makes finding the right work/life balance so essential, is that 2012 is your luckiest and most expansive year for love and all things romantic and creative in over a decade and it will stay that way until mid 2013, but it's also one of your most powerful professional years in decades, opening the door to a period of professional growth that won't run its course until 2015. Yet as you move into 2012 you're probably looking around asking where these opportunities are, for you can't see them. That's because things won't start moving on the romantic front until the 4th April, but over the coming months are destined to escalate, culminating in Jupiter's return to your romantic and creative sector on the 12th June. This opens the door to your luckiest year for love in over a decade, that won't run its course until June 2013. Professional forces will take a while longer to kick in, with the 30th August the date things start to move, with a potentially game changing total solar eclipse on the 14th November catapulting you to the next level. It's essential that you spend the early months of 2012 building your nest and cementing your home and family life, for this is the rock and the foundation that everything else will depend on.

Love
While 2012 will take awhile to reveal just what a huge and auspicious year for love and romance it is, you do begin the year with Venus, planet of love in your sign, which means that you'll have a read on your heart, which in turn will be alert to the opportunities ahead. This means moving into the New Year listening to and following your heart, especially while Venus is in your sign until the 14th January. Things really start to move on the romantic front when Venus, planet of love returns to your romantic sector on the 4th April. Normally here for around 3 and a half weeks these are usually some of the most romantic weeks in any given year, but this year Venus has something special planned. While Venus will arrive on the 4th April she won't leave until the 8th August, but it's not just that she'll spend 4 months attracting romantic opportunities and heightening your romantic experiences that makes this so auspicious, it's what happens while she's here that also counts. While Venus herself will create an opportunity for new romantic opportunities and second chances, it is Jupiter, planet of luck's return on the 12th June that opens the door to one of your luckiest years for love and romance in over a decade, a year that won't run its course until June 2013. During Venus' 4 months in your romantic sector there'll be plenty of opportunities for new beginnings and second chances. Things are a lot less auspicious but no less important on the relationship front, with Mercury spending from the 26th June to the 1st September working with you to ensure that the communication lines are open, something that he will normally allocate just 15 to 16 days to. The Sun's visit from the 22nd July to the 23rd August, a New Moon on the 18th August and Venus' visit from the 7th September to the 3rd October, will all provide opportunities to put your relationships on the right track and to give the resources to create something real and authentic. But the real focus this year is on the extraordinary romantic forces that are set to make 2012 one of your best years for love ever.

Money
2012 is a big year for both financial and income matters, but unlike the past this is not code for challenging, for you have definitely been there, done that and have the tee shirt to prove it. However, that doesn't mean you'll be let off scot-free, but any pressure is more about raising the bar and milking the opportunities you have. You will move into 2012 with Mars, planet of passion, drive and ambition and the warrior planet of the cosmos in your financial sector, where he's been since the 11th November 2011 and where he'll remain until the 4th July 2012. Mars is here for just under 8 months, his longest visit in 47 years and he's out to help you to claim your power back, to fight for the things you want and the things that you don't want. With no other planetary activity in your financial sector until after he leaves, the normal financial reality checks will come later in the year, making this all about declaring war and going into battle, giving you the power to turn your financial situation around. This may create some problems and tensions in the early weeks of the year, for this will put Mars in opposition with some very special developments on the income front, yet the opportunities on both fronts are so extreme that while any tension may be short term, it's going to provide the right amount of motivation and raise the bar. Expect things to start to move on the income front fairly early in the year, with Venus returning to your income sector on the 14th January, Neptune on the 4th February, Mercury on the 14th February and the Sun on the 19th February. With Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies in your income sector until 2026, this is the start of a whole new chapter and the very early days of a process of developing and realizing some very big dreams. These early weeks as the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through, are all about getting things moving, with this more active phase kicking off with Venus' arrival on the 14th January and ending with Mercury's departure on the 17th April. Yet Venus, Mercury, the Sun and Neptune will all move into opposition with Mars over in your financial sector, but it's important to remember that while there may be some financial pressure or tension during these months, that it's all about raising the bar, with the warrior planet of the cosmos over on the other side of the sky evoking your fighting spirit and making sure that you're not asleep at the wheel.

Business
For many years your professional life has been a footnote, with periods of any given year holding favorable opportunities and times on both the career and work fronts, as was the case on the work front in the middle months of 2011 and in October/November on the career front. But what you've lacked is a year with the kind of sustainability to keep things in motion, allowing you to define a year not as one that holds patches of opportunities and is not a big professional year in itself, but one that in its own right is a powerful professional year. 2012 is a year that might start out looking like any other year, which means moving into the New Year with no planetary activity in either of your professional houses, it's going to end as anything but. You'll have to be patient though, for the major professional conditions won't kick in until the second half of the year, however when they do they'll remain in play until 2015. In fact, apart from a Full Moon in your work sector on the 9th January and a Full Moon in your career sector on the 6th May, there'll be no cosmic, let alone planetary activity in either of your professional houses until Mercury reaches your work sector on the 7th June. Even then Mercury is only here for 19 days, arriving on the 7th June and leaving on the 26th June, the Sun from the 21st June to the 22nd July and Venus from the 8th August to the 7th September. These are likely to be opportune weeks on the work front, but are nothing out of the ordinary. What is out of the ordinary happens while Venus is in your work sector, but is not caused by Venus, though it will help having her there. It's on the 30th August that your professional world and fortunes change, with the arrival of the North Node on the 30th August. It's the North Node's arrival that sets the scene for a potentially game changing total solar eclipse in your career sector, on the 14th November and all that this will unleash. While the North Node will remain in your career sector until the 19th February 2014, what will give you sustainability beyond this is Saturn's return to your career sector on the 6th October, where he'll stay until 2015. With Jupiter, planet of luck returning to your work sector on the 26th June 2013, kicking off your luckiest 12 months on the work front, Saturn will still be in your career sector putting you on the brink of some of your most powerful professional years ever. Once your professional star starts to rise in August 2012, it will set in motion forces that will completely rewrite your professional landscape for years to come.
2013 Horoscope

Without a doubt 2013 is one of your most important and powerful professional years on record, more because of the many different themes that come together making the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Saturn, spending his first full year in your career sector since 1984 is joined by the North Node, who is here for the first time since 1994 but is spending his first full year here since 1976. The last time that the North Node was able to give things a clear sense of direction and to bring the element of fate into play, especially during the eclipses this triggers, a lunar eclipse on the 26th April and a solar eclipse on the 4th November, was 17 years ago. The last time that Saturn was here to provide the strength, determination and resilience to stay the course, giving you the power to move mountains if you have to was 29 years ago, while the last time they were together was briefly, for a few days in 1956. Yet it's the fact that for the first time in your lifetime you're moving into the New Year with Neptune in your income sector and that here until 2026 he's also formed a strong relationship with career forces and that lucky Jupiter will return to your work sector on the 26th June, kicking off your luckiest year on the work front in decades, takes this to a whole new level. Apart from Neptune you have had different parts of what makes this year exceptional at different points in the past, but never all together at the same time. Yet if you think that this will make this a year that is all work and no play then think again, with Jupiter not leaving the most romantic, creative and playful part of your chart until the 26th June. This makes the first half of the year and especially May and June some of the most important months in over a decade for all things romantic and creative, for matters of the heart and for some anything to do with children or even babies! You have an extremely exciting year ahead of you, with almost anything you set your mind to within your grasp. For the first time in 13 years you're moving into the New Year with Mars, planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos in your sign, with a chance to embrace this New Year with passion, stamping your name all over it from Day 1.

Love:
The luckiest year for love and all things romantic occurs once every 12 years when Jupiter, planet of luck spends 12 months in your romantic sector. As you move into 2013 you're at the halfway point in your luckiest romantic year in over a decade, with Jupiter having returned last June and not due to leave until the 26th June. To start with, with Jupiter in retrograde motion until the 31st January and some roadblocks late last year, it might be a hard sell to convince you that you've just moved into a lucky year for love. Yet with things not really coming together until May and with your focus still on the past this may require some blind faith to start with. In fact, as you move into the New Year chances are your focus is on your relationships, because for the first time since 1994 you're moving into the New Year with the Moon in your relationship sector and while he'll move on, he'll get your attention at the critical crossover period, with first impressions making a big impact. The Moon will come full circle to form a Full Moon in your relationship sector on the 27th January, giving you a chance to set your relationships on the course that you want them to continue on. With no planetary activity in your relationship sector until Venus returns on the 28th June, this is more important than you realise. With Venus kicking off some of your most important relationship weeks of the year on the 28th June and May and June your most important romantic months, it's during the middle months of the year that the love gods will be most active. Expect things to remain quiet on the romantic front until Venus, planet of love returns to your romantic sector on the 10th May to the 3rd June and Mercury, planet of communication from the 16th May to the 31st May, the Sun from the 21st May to the 21st June and Mars from the 31st May to the 14th July. With Jupiter leaving your romantic sector on the 26th June, the planets will all come together to make those final weeks count. It's just 2 days after Jupiter is due to leave your romantic sector, but while there is still a lot of tying up of loose ends going on that Venus will return to your relationship sector on the 28th June. This will kick off your most important relationship months of the year, which won't run their course until the 16th October, lessening the impact of any drop off on the romantic front and allowing you to channel a lot of that romantic energy into your relationships.

Money:
While it's not unusual to have planetary activity in your income sector as you move into the New Year, what is different this year is that for the first time in your lifetime you not only have Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies in your income sector, but the support of planetary forces on the career front and the promise of some big opportunities on the work front this year. It's fitting then that Neptune isn't a planet that is focused on reality or even bringing things home and more on encouraging you to believe in what's possible, making it important to move into the year with a Wish List rather than a list of financial resolutions, especially when it comes to income matters. While it's not Neptune's job to bring things home or make things happen this is the job of the faster moving planets and as they align with Neptune, all of them except Venus for the first time in your lifetime, then all I can say is watch this space! This will kick off fairly early in the year, beginning with Mars' return to your income sector from the 2nd February to the 11th March and will continue with Mercury's return from the 6th February to the 14th April, the Sun's from the 19th February to the 21st March and Venus' from the 26th February to the 18th March. Normally you can look to the past for precedents, looking back to when this last happened for clues on how this might unfold this time around. However, to find precedents here you'd have to look back to the 1860's. This puts you in virgin territory, with nothing but the blind faith that Neptune is evoking as you move into the New Year. With no planetary activity in your financial sector at the time and only a Full Moon in your financial sector on the 26th February to keep you on your toes, this will be a period of opportunity with little, if any financial tension or roadblocks. Financial matters will get their turn later in the year and this year they're happy to wait, with the money gods being unusually diplomatic and fair this year. This allows you to put all your focus onto your income situation in the first half of the year, not turning your attention to money matters until the second half, other than keeping things on track yourself. Things start to move on the financial front when Venus moves through your financial sector from the 23rd July to the 17th August, the Sun from the 23rd August to the 23rd September, Mercury from the 24th August to the 9th September and finally Mars from the 16th October to the 8th December. This will put them in opposition with Neptune in your financial sector, but in retrograde motion by then and with the main income thrust for the year over, this will keep you on your toes.

Business:
Chances are, even before you move into your 2013 professional year you'll have a sense that this isn't destined to be an ordinary year, for with Saturn in your career sector from October 2012 to September 2015 and the North Node from August 2012 to February 2014, you have one of your most powerful professional years on record. It's a combination of the North Node's sense of direction and the element of fate this brings into play, especially around the time of the eclipses this triggers and Saturn's strength, discipline and determination that allows you to see what you're aiming for and make it happen. Yet while you may have an inkling that this is already making this an exceptional professional year, chances are you have no idea just how exceptional this year is set to become. While it's been 17 years since you had the North Node in your career sector and 28 years since Saturn was here, the last time they were together was in 1956 and then only for a few days, not the whole year. Yet this is just half of the story and in a year where you already have more than your fair share of advantages on the 26th June Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion will return to your work sector, kicking off your luckiest 12 months on the work front in 12 years, a year that won't run its course until July 2014. When you add in the exceptional resources you have on the income front you have a year that there are no precedents for. For the most part Saturn and the North Node will keep up a consistent pace on the career front until September, when things will get busy and with things starting to move on the work front at the end of May, the early months of the year are more about pacing yourself. A lunar eclipse in your career sector on the 26th April will provide an important waypoint on the professional front. Things will start to move on the work front when Mercury returns to your work sector on the 31st May, Venus on the 3rd June and the Sun on the 21st June. This means they'll all be here when Jupiter returns and a very lucky and expansive year on the work front begins. Mars will return on the 14th July and arriving just a few weeks behind Jupiter will provide the passion and the fighting spirit to get things up to speed, with the New Moon here on the 8th July the first with lucky Jupiter on board in 12 years. It won't be until Mars leaves your work sector on the 28th August that things will be fully up to speed. This gives you a short 2 week break before Venus returns to your career sector on the 11th September, teaming back up with Saturn and the Sun and triggering an active period that won't run its course until Mercury leaves on the 5th December. A solar eclipse on the 4th November is likely to create a powerful trigger, so what this space!

Learn About Aquarius

The original, inventive thinking of an Aquarius can solve any problem in an original way, and if any of the other signs get stranded on a desert island, they'd want an Aquarian with them. Those with an Aquarius horoscope are deeply loyal and supportive friends, who choose friends for their inner qualities and not for their social standing.

The trouble is that Aquarians have barely any respect for authority. They flout it on every occasion and get a reputation for being anarchic and eccentric. Make sure you know the value of some established traditions, because things get ugly when you throw the baby out with the bathwater.
