2012 Horoscope

Your biggest challenge in 2012 is finding a balance between work and play and the normal compromises required with having it all. For at the same time that this is a powerful year for personal matters, with Jupiter in your romantic sector until the 12th June and the middle months of the year especially good for relationships, you also have Saturn in your career sector until the 6th October and from the 12th June, Jupiter will be in your work sector. Jupiter and Saturn are the major players of the cosmos, for they're not only the largest planets in the solar system they are the real power houses in our chart. There isn't a moment of 2012 that you won't have either Saturn, Jupiter or both in your two professional houses and after the professional challenges and ups and downs of the past, this is the year that everything is likely to come together. Saturn has fought hard to get you to the point that you're at now, so that by the time Jupiter begins his 12 month journey through your work sector on the 12th June, you'll be ready to reap the rewards, during what will be your luckiest year for work matters and opportunities in over a decade and a very expansive year. Yet with Jupiter in a romantic, creative and playful part of your chart until the 12th June and Saturn moving into a more social and friendship based area of your chart on the 6th October, this creates a cohesion between these two planetary giants that continues to maintain a balance between your personal and professional lives. While Saturn is professionally focused, Jupiter is focused on your romantic and creative opportunities and when Jupiter shifts to your work sector, Saturn shifts to a social and serendipitous part of your chart. It seems that they've worked out before hand that they'll work together to make 2012 the year when finding a balance between work and play is not only doable, but a must.

Love
Whether by fate or design Venus, planet of love and romance won't visit your sign in 2012, having left on the 21st December 2011 and not due to return until the 9th January 2013. If the planet of love felt you needed her help she'd be there, with the fact that she's not more a sign of confidence. For the reality is that with Jupiter, planet of luck in your romantic sector until the 12th June you don't need Venus' support, especially as you're moving into 2012 with some strong romantic desires and expectations already banked and both luck and hindsight to draw on. Jupiter only turned direct on the 26th December and tracing the same ground for the third time by then, there are opportunities for both new beginnings and second chances. With Venus returning to your romantic sector from the 5th March to the 4th April, these are destined to be some of the most romantic weeks of the year and it will be another 12 years before the planets of luck and love get together again in your romantic sector, with a chance to lay everything on the line. Mercury will move through your romantic sector from the 9th May to the 24th May and the Sun from the 20th April to the 21st May, providing the reality checks to put things on the track that you want them to continue on. A New Moon on the 21st April creates an opportunity for new beginnings and a fresh start. The forces in your romantic sector are powerful and will not only dominate this year, but define your romantic experiences and expectations for years to come. With much less cosmic focus on your relationships, it's important to pay attention when your relationship sector is active, which it will be for a period of exactly 3 months, from the 7th June to the 7th September, kicking off just 5 days before Jupiter leaves your romantic sector on the 12th June. The only planets to visit your relationship sector this year are the Sun, Mercury and Venus. Mercury is only here for 19 days, from the 7th to the 26th June, making these important days for ensuring that the communication lines are open. The Sun's visit between the 21st June and the 22nd July is more about reality checks, with Venus' visit from the 8th August to the 7th September creating some very special relationship weeks.

Money
You have a very neat and tidy year on the money front, with two very distinct periods where your income and financial sectors are active and for the first time since 1995 this won't happen in conflict with each other, allowing you to get some real balance. For what has been your norm since 1996 is for your income sector to be continuously active, which meant that when your financial sector was active, which sits on the other side of the sky, this created oppositions, financial pressure and tension. From September 2007 to October 2007 that was your reality 24/7, for over 2 years without a break. Yet the pressures that came to a head in the middle months of 2011 were the last and if they were extreme, it was to flush any remaining issues out, allowing you to move on. And move on you will and in the early weeks of the year the area where there is the most potential for movement is on the income front. You will move into the New Year with Venus, planet of money, desire and attraction and Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies in your income sector, for the last time in your lifetime, making it important to move into 2012 feeling cocky, confident and believing that anything is possible, even if that means faking it till you make it. Venus will leave your income sector on the 14th January and with Neptune leaving on the 4th February, not to return again in your lifetime, the first 2 weeks of the year are all about cementing your expectations for the short and the long term. The Sun's move through your income sector, from the 21st January to the 19th February and Mercury's from the 28th January to the 14th February will give you the resources to start turning desires and dreams into reality, giving you the right amount of objectivity and a smart head for money. Yet they can't do their job without something to motivate them, for while this may be the one year when your income dreams really can fly, if you don't have a dream there's nothing to turn into a reality. Things need to be done and dusted on the income front by the 19th February, especially when it comes to planting seeds, with the rest of the year all about tending and nurturing those seeds. The real sense that you really have turned a corner will come midyear, when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through your financial sector. In all, your financial sector, giving you a chance to bring financial matters on a whole up to speed, will be active from the 26th June to the 3rd October and for the first time since 1995 this won't come with financial pressures and tension.

Business
If you are to believe all the hype and hyperbole, 2012 is hosting a rare and life transforming celestial event. The reality is that's exactly what it's hosting, except it's not happening on the 21st December rather the 6th June, when the real and most stunning cosmic event of 2012 will take place. It's then that Venus will move across the face of the Sun, creating a very rare Venus eclipse, not to be repeated for another 100 years. This not only falls in your work sector, it opens a path for Jupiter, planet of luck, who will return just 6 days later, on the 12th June, opening the door to a very lucky and expansive 12 months on the work front. Jupiter won't leave your work sector until June 2013, with events between the 4th April and the 8th August 2012 ushering what is literally going to be a new dawn on the work front. Yet as you move into 2012 the focus is on your career sector and has been since Saturn returned in October 2009. Not only that Saturn and his pragmatic approach has been calling on you to go above and beyond, putting everything you have into everything you do, doing whatever it took for as long as it took to get to the path or the level that you need to be on. With Saturn in your career sector good enough or close enough has not been an option and regardless of the many times you would have been happy to rest on your laurels, feeling that you've risen as far as you could, Saturn has pushed on. Now, as you reach a year when things are due to fall into place so brilliantly on the work front, the method behind Saturn's pedantic ways is about to be revealed. All along he's known what lies ahead and what you're capable of and he's dragged, pushed and cajoled you all the way. 2012 is such a powerful and transformative professional year that it's hard to single out specific periods, but things will start to move on the work front from the 4th April and while Saturn will leave your career sector on the 6th October, it won't be until the 22nd November that things have run their course. There isn't a moment in 2012 that you won't be in the grip of powerful professional forces, but it's between the 4th April and the 22nd November that things will be active on the work and career fronts at the same time. This makes the first 3 months of the year all about defining your career objectives and the final 5 weeks of the year about cementing things on the work front before moving into 2013.
2013 Horoscope

Let's face it, not all years are created equal and there are good and bad years. Good and bad years can be created because the conditions impacting you directly or because of the conditions in general. Sometimes that leads you to situations where your personal conditions are good but the general conditions aren't or vice versa, creating a mixed bag and other times you get the worst of both, a bad year for your personal conditions in a bad year as far as the general conditions are concerned. Unfortunately that's been the case for the last few years, creating a lot of pressure, tension and challenges, but all the while providing more benefits and resilience than you realised, especially on the professional front. However, the gods are smiling on you this year and while in previous years you've had the double whammy in a negative way, you get it in a positive way this year, with the conditions on the personal and general front's ideal. What you have this year is a powerful year for both personal and professional networking and from the 26th June onwards one of your most important relationship years in over a decade, with lucky Jupiter in your relationship sector from June 2013 to July 2014. In the meantime, while it may seem that things on the work front have become stalled or that you're under work pressure in the early weeks of the year, this is more a hangover from 2012's tensions and any hold up will ease when Jupiter turns direct in your work sector on the 31st January. The most auspicious months for work matters, opportunities and for realising that you really do have luck on your side are May and June, when everything will come together. It's towards the end of the year that the love gods have something special, for with Jupiter in your relationship sector from June 2013 to July 2014 he'll be here when from the 5th December 2013 to the 6th March 2014 Venus, planet of love makes her longest visit to your sign in over 200 years. While personal matters will dominate in the later part of the year and professional matters in the middle months, money matters will be at the forefront in the early days of the year. For the first time in 13 years you'll move into the New Year with Mars in your income sector and for the first time since 1994 the Moon in your financial sector, with a chance to get your income situation up to speed and exploit as much potential as possible in the first 2 months of the year.

Love:
This is a year that is likely to come disguised as nothing out of the ordinary. You will move into the New Year with no planetary activity in either your romantic or relationship sectors, yet that's not surprising as they are not usually active in the early part of the year. Even Venus, planet of love's return to your sign, from the 9th January to the 2nd February isn't out of the ordinary, as she will always return either during or shortly before or after your birthday month. Things will go quiet after Venus leaves your sign, making it important to hold onto the romantic desires and expectations she leaves you with. What you do have however, is the South Node in your romantic sector, keeping the door open to second chances all year but with the love gods deciding what is let through. Your romantic sector will become active from the Sun's return on the 20th April to Mars' departure from the 31st May and with a solar eclipse on the 10th May, while this is on the higher end of what you would expect at this time of year, it's not enough to be game changing, as events in the second half of the year will become. Things are so quiet on the relationship front in the early part of the year that the Full Moon that will quite often fall in January each year, fell instead at the end of December 2012. Things won't really start to move on the relationship front until Mercury returns on the 31st May, with the only unusual thing about that being that he's returned earlier than expected. Yet not due to leave until the 9th August, it's while the planet of communication is in your relationship sector that everything changes. With Venus, planet of love in your relationship sector from the 3rd June to the 28th June and the Sun from the 21st June to the 22nd July they'll all be here when Jupiter returns on the 26th June, kicking off your luckiest relationship year in over a decade, one that won't run its course until July 2014. Mars will move through your relationship sector from the 14th July to the 28th August and a New Moon on the 8th July will give you a chance to get this new relationship era off the ground and with a clear sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you, to give it everything you've got. Even then the love gods aren't quite finished, with Venus returning to your sign from the 5th November to the 6th March 2014, the longest visit from the planet of love in over 200 years.

Money:
There are no extraordinary planetary conditions in either of your money houses this year, with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars spending time in both your income and financial sectors, a New Moon and a Full Moon in both, but nothing more. This is very civilised, with the money gods being extremely diplomatic this year, favouring neither your income nor financial sectors above the other and not only giving both equal resources but different times of the year to play out, so there are no conflicts or financial tensions to deal with. However, one of your money houses has a clear advantage and it has nothing to do with the support that it has and everything to do with timing. That advantage goes to your income sector and therefore your income opportunities and potential, where for the first time since 2000 you're moving into the New Year with Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos in your income sector and on his own, with only his passion and fighting spirit leading the way for the first time since 1983. This is going to give income matters, which are only active in the first 2 months of the year a dream start, allowing you to channel your time, energy and passion into giving your income situation and matters the right momentum from the get go. However, financial forces are going to gatecrash this party and for the first time since 1994 you'll move into the New Year with the Moon in your financial sector, allowing you to start the year with your financial instincts sharp, your finger on the pulse and your ear to the ground, as well as providing Mars with some healthy motivation. The Moon will come full circle to form a Full Moon on the 27th January, but apart from that financial matters will have their turn in the middle months of the year. While Mars will leave your income sector on the 2nd February, with the Sun moving through from the 20th January to the 19th February, Mercury from the 19th January to the 6th February and Venus from the 2nd February to the 26th February, arriving the day Mars leaves, there will be plenty of support to bring what Mars started home. However, apart from 2 Full Moons in your income sector on the 23rd July and the 21st August, you'll be on your own. These Full Moons will gatecrash what will be some active financial months, which will begin with Venus' return to your financial sector on the 28th June and end with Mercury's departure on the 24th August. With Mars not moving through until the 28th August to the 16th October, you have a bit longer to wrap things up and bring things home.

Business:
The best thing that you can do to prepare for your 2013 professional year is to take some quality time out over the holiday period, for after the 3 years you've just been through you, more than any other sign, need a break and with the pace due to pick up on the work front in February, you're going to need it. When Saturn left your career sector in early October he wrapped up a 3 year visit that challenged and pushed you beyond the point where you believed was possible and in the process may have taken almost everything out of you and then some. But as you recover and Saturn moves on you're already starting to realise the resilience he's left you with, the paths this has cleared and the benefits this has laid the foundations down for, which you have years, if not decades to fully explore. This is your first year since 2009 that Saturn hasn't been in your career sector as you move into the New Year, with his challenging demands playing no part in your 2013 professional year, but leaving you with the resources to achieve anything you want. As Venus was the last planet to leave your career sector in 2012 you get to decide where to from here. This does not mean a drop off in professional focus for you have Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion in your work sector. In retrograde motion since early October and due to turn direct on the 31st January Jupiter is in his final month in retrograde motion as you move into the New Year, so there is nothing to be gained by pushing and rushing things. The early weeks of the year are all about looking back at where you've been and forward to where you're going, soaking it all in. Things will start to move on the work front when Jupiter turns direct, but only slowly, with the real push to bring things home not coming until May. From Venus' return to your work sector on the 10th May to Mars' departure on the 14th July they and both the Sun and Mercury will return in time to help Jupiter bring home all the advantages he's here to deliver. In the lead up to Jupiter's departure on the 26th June you'll find out just how fortuitous it is to have the planet of luck in your work sector. With Mars wrapping things up on the work front on the 14th July you have a chance to let things settle before new doors start opening on the career front, which they'll do from the 17th August. Here there are two waves, one to get things moving and the second to bring things home. The first wave, from the 17th August to the 23rd August will get the ball rolling, but it's the second wave that will knock things out of the ball park, revealing why it was so necessary to spend 3 years in boot camp. It begins on the 8th December and runs through to the 26th July 2014, when Mars makes his longest visit to your career sector in 32 years.

Learn About Capricorn

Capricorns are good at making money. Ruled by dour Saturn, these practical and sensible folk don't believe in luck - Capricorns just know that the harder you work, the luckier you get. While shying from the spotlight, Capricorns nevertheless can become quite powerful and respected, because they always put the good of the firm first - and when they have partners and families, they have an extra reason to succeed. Ambitious Capricorns will set goals and mark off each achievement as a step nearer to the pinnacle of success - running their own show. This is what every Capricorn really wants.

The trouble is that Capricorns can get so caught up in climbing the ladder that they neglect their relationships. Make sure you keep in touch with your nurturing side, because things get really ugly when Capricorn starts putting a price on everything.
