2012 Horoscope

While there is a lot of focus on your work situation as you move into the year, it's likely to be more about evaluating your ideal, what your dream job looks and feels like and if you're on the right track then rolling your sleeves up. You'll move into 2012 with Neptune and Venus, the planets of dreams and desires in your work sector, but with Venus leaving on the 14th January and Neptune on the 4th February, with all the planetary activity for the year over by the 19th February, a year that begins with a lot of focus on your job may appear to be a fizzler of a professional year. But you should never judge a book by its cover, for on the 4th February your professional life not only gets its second wind, it comes into its own. For 2012 is without a doubt one of your biggest professional years ever, even if it stays in the disguise of being just an ordinary year for the first 3 months. It's from the 4th April that things begin to move, but May/June are likely to be the tipping point months. Between the 21st May and the 12th June you'll experience a solar eclipse, a Venus eclipse and Jupiter's return to your career sector, kicking off your luckiest career year in over a decade, that won't run its course until June 2013. It's no wonder then that Saturn has been working with you since as far back as October 2009 to stand your ground and to start raising the bar on the income front. It's in 2012 that you'll find that the financial challenges of the past will settle, to a point where they might not go away but they are now more likely to motivate you and that you're the one in control. Knowing what a huge professional year 2012 is going to be, but also that you have a break between the 19th February and the 4th April, makes it important to use that time to focus on your relationships and just soaking in as much of life as possible, doing what you can to really feel alive.

Love
What you see as you move into the New Year is not what you'll get, in terms of what the love gods have in store for you in 2012. If you were to take a snapshot of conditions in the early days of the year you'd see a lot of focus on your romantic situation, but your relationships more a background theme and maybe even still a little sensitive and touchy. Yet in reality this is not a big year on the romantic front, yet it is on the relationship front. The focus will always be on your romantic situation at the start of each year, with the Sun in your romantic sector until the 21st January. But with Venus, planet of love not visiting your romantic sector at all in 2012 and with no New Moons here either, all your cards are already on the table as you move into the New Year. With the Sun leaving your romantic sector on the 21st January and Mercury on the 28th January, apart from a Full Moon on the 4th July things will run their course until Mars returns on the 17th November, to spice things up again. However, with Pluto in your romantic sector until 2024 it's not that things will go dead, just that they'll run their course in a behind the scenes way. On the relationship front things couldn't be more different, with things starting slow and then quickly escalating. You move into 2012 with Chiron, planet of healing in your relationship sector, but on his own and on a long term mission to heal the past, this is hardly attention grabbing stuff. Yet just 2 weeks into 2012 everything will change, with the arrival of Venus, planet of love into your relationship sector on the 14th January. From then you're on a roll with Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies not only returning on the 4th February but here until January 2026. With Mercury not even returning to your relationship sector until the 14th February and the Sun until the 19th February, by then a powerful new relationship chapter will be underway, one that begins with Venus and Neptune bringing a sense that anything is possible. The period from the 14th January to the 17th April is when you need to invest as much as possible into your relationships and into the future, though the door will open to second chances from the 24th March to the 4th April.

Money
As you move into 2012 and look at the conditions playing out on the money front, you'll see that nothing has changed and that you still have Saturn in your income sector and you still have Uranus in your financial sector, causing you to wonder if you have what it takes to go round the block with these two antagonists again. For Saturn and Uranus are not only on opposing sides of the sky they have opposing philosophies, with Uranus bringing a more liberal and confident approach, at times evoking a real 'she'll be right' attitude, while Saturn is calling for a pragmatic approach to taking responsibility. It was Saturn's return to your income sector and Uranus' to your financial sector in 2010 that put them in opposition and while they are still in opposing sides of the sky, they are too far apart to create pressure and coming from such opposing viewpoints and approaches, are creating the right balance. Uranus is daring you to keep your mind and your options open, letting life surprise you and Saturn is giving you the determination and focus to walk the talk. While Uranus will remain in your financial sector until March 2019, making his a long term project, Saturn will leave your income sector on the 6th October and won't return for another 3 decades. This makes it important to keep your overall financial objectives flexible and open, while becoming even more focused and pragmatic on the income front, really standing your ground, taking your power back and doing whatever it takes for as long as it takes. With Saturn in retrograde motion in your income sector from the 8th February to the 25th June, this is when you're able to work behind the scenes, but also focus more on your overall financial game. From Venus' return to your financial sector on the 8th February to Mercury's departure on the 9th May you have a chance to get your financial game on track. It's from the 4th July that things start to move on the income front, with Mars' return signaling to Saturn that it's game on. By this stage Saturn will be back in direct motion and ready to make his final months count. It's during Mars' visit to your income sector from the 4th July to the 24th August, Mercury's from the 17th September to the 5th October and the Sun's from the 23rd September to the 23rd October that you'll have the resources to drive things home. The Sun, Mercury and Mars will all arrive while Saturn is still here and while you still have the power to move mountains if you have to. Venus won't return to your income sector until after Saturn has left, with her visit from the 29th October to the 22nd November likely to be extremely lucrative.

Business
2012 is one year when what you see at the start of the year is not what you'll get and does not define what kind of professional year you'll get. The year will start out strong on work focus, but looking very much like every other year for the last 14 years, but lying behind the facade is what I can only describe as your biggest and most important professional year ever. You will move into 2012 with Venus and Neptune, the planets of desires and dreams in your work sector, but as Neptune has been here since 1998 and Venus has been here for a number of those years, there is nothing out of the ordinary about that. Yet despite its 'normality', there will be a surprising amount of urgency and a sense that when it comes to defining your dream job and your dreams and aspirations, that it really is now or never. That's because Neptune will leave your work sector on the 4th February, just over 14 years since he first arrived, never to return again in your lifetime. With Venus here until the 14th January, the Sun from the 21st January to the 19th February and Mercury from the 28th January to the 14th February, this is when you're putting your work objectives on the track that will most probably define your working reality forever more. This gives you a chance to hang a star on high and make that your North Star forever more. Yet from the 19th February there'll be no more planetary activity in your work sector, none until Mars returns on the 26th November and with no planetary activity in your career sector you'll be left with no planetary activity in either of your professional houses. This is something you haven't experienced for 14 years, for even when Neptune left your work sector for 4 months in 2011 your career sector was active then and will most probably leave you scratching your head, thinking 'is this it'?, 'this can't be it'? And the reality is that is definitely not 'it' and far from it and is in fact just the opening act. The real professional advantages kick in on the 4th April, when Venus returns for what would normally be a 3 and a half week visit to your career sector, aimed at strengthening your professional desires and attracting opportunities. Instead, Venus will stay for 4 months, not leaving until the 8th August and a very rare Venus eclipse on the 6th June is an auspicious portent of things to come. For just 6 days later, on the 12th June Jupiter, planet of luck will return to your career sector, kicking off your luckiest and most expansive professional year in over a decade, with some once in a lifetime conditions coming together to make this your time to shine.
2013 Horoscope

Every year has its ever changing themes, some months that are better for professional matters than others, some better for financial or personal months than others, each having their turn at coming to the fore. But rising above that you'll also find a central theme that either runs through the whole year or at least a large chunk of the year. For you the major theme running throughout the year is a strong partnership between communication and relationship forces, with communication likely to be both your biggest challenge but also your greatest reward this year. This is a year where you're finally coming into your own on the relationship front, after some very challenging years, to a point where you're moving into 2013 ready to put the past behind you, with the healing process well underway and with a lot more trust in what the future holds. This has such a strong relationship with the communication forces dominating the year, that the two have to go hand in hand. The other major theme of the year surrounds Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion, who will bring you a year of two halves. The first half of the year is more professionally dominated, with lucky Jupiter in your career sector until the 26th June, but things not really running their course until mid July, at the same time that you're moving into the year with Mars in your work sector, for the first time in 13 years. You're likely to have a very busy first 2 months, not easing back until late February, with May and June the months where everything is likely to come together on the career front. Yet by midyear there is a fairly dramatic shift, for as each planet moves through your career sector to help Jupiter bring things home they'll return to your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking, a more social and serendipitous part of your chart and where it's more about personal and professional networking. With Jupiter returning here on the 26th June and staying on until July 2014 your human connections will become a lot more important. Behind these themes you have the ever changing landscape of the year, with March and April the best months for financial matters and August and September setting the scene for some exceptional developments on the income front, from December through to May 2014. Meanwhile, the love gods have a big surprise on the romantic front in the later weeks of this year and the first 3 months of 2014.

Love:
It was just 4 years ago that for the first time in your lifetime you moved into the New Year with Pluto in your romantic sector and just as you're getting used to a presence that will be with you until 2014 you rack up another first this year. For the first time in your lifetime you'll move into the New Year with Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies in your relationship sector and here now until 2026 the love gods are now committed to permanent support on both the romantic and relationship fronts. There will be no point in 2013 where your romantic or your relationship sectors aren't active and that will be the case for many years to come. This raised the bar on both fronts throughout the year, but it's when the faster moving planets move through that things will really become interesting. This is already underway on the romantic front as you move into the New Year and after Mars and Pluto got together to evoke your romantic passions and fuel the flames of revolution late last year, the fight continues with more moderate forces. While the thrust and confidence to keep these romantic passions in play will end on the 2nd February it's Venus, planet of love's return on the 9th January that sparks some of the most romantic weeks of the year, in the early stage anyway, which include a New Moon on the 12th January. It's then that romantic forces make way for some stunning relationship months, as first Mars and then the Sun and Mercury each team up with Neptune, for the first time here in your lifetime. There are some extraordinary relationship opportunities from the 2nd February to the 14th April, including the potential for both new beginnings and second chances. A Full Moon in your romantic sector on the 23rd June and in your relationship sector on the 19th September will ensure you don't lose your way or your momentum on either front. However, the love gods aren't done with you yet, with a second wave of romantic opportunities kicking off on the 5th November when Venus, planet of love begins a 4 month visit to your romantic sector, one that won't run its course until the 6th March 2014. This is a once in a lifetime event, as the last time Venus spent this long in your romantic sector was over 200 years ago, between November 1802 and March 1803, so watch this space!

Money:
The most important thing on the money front this year is less about what is happening and more about what isn't happening, which is a continuation of the financial tensions and pressures of the past. Even if nothing actually changes it's going to feel like it has, with the same situations which would have created tension or anxiety in the past no longer pushing your buttons. This is all because of Saturn's departure from your income sector in October 2012, for while it's left you with an enormous amount of untapped potential on the income front, it means that there is no ongoing financial pressure on Uranus, over in your financial sector. For that reason alone, you can expect a much better year, with the money gods on your side. With Uranus in your financial sector until 2019 there will be no point in the year when there isn't some planetary activity on the financial front, as opposed to income matters that happen now at more specific times of the year. However, in saying that you can expect a lot more movement on the money front, with financial matters as a whole and anything to do with larger sums of money, such as tax, loans or even inheritances more likely to play out between Mars' return to your financial sector on the 11th March and Mercury's departure on the 2nd May. However, with Uranus in direct motion since mid December 2014, anything held back in 2012 will gain traction before then. Apart from March to April the next spike in financial focus will come around the time of a lunar eclipse in your financial sector on the 19th October, which may bring some unexpected developments. Meanwhile, apart from a Full Moon in your income sector on the 27th March you'll find your best income opportunities in the second half of the year. It will begin with Venus' return to your income sector from the 17th August to the 11th September and will continue with Mercury's visit from the 9th September to the 30th September and the Sun's from the 23rd September to the 23rd October. Watch for events around the New Moon on the 5th October. However, the real advantages won't come until the closing weeks of the year and the first half of 2014. It's from the 8th December to the 26th July 2014 that Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos will make his longest visit to your income sector since 1981/1982.

Business:
Any year that begins with Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion in your career sector and Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos in your work sector has to be considered a good professional year, by any standards and without a doubt, this is one of the best and something you've been working towards since as far back as April 2012. This is the first time in 12 years that you'll move into the New Year with Jupiter in your career sector and the first time in 13 years since you've had Mars in your work sector. However, back in 2000, when Mars last escorted you into the New Year with his drives, passions and hunger for action, his passion and fighting spirit were reined in by less urgent forces. The last time you moved into the New Year with Mars in your work sector on his own and nothing holding him back was in 1983. Mars only returned to your work sector on Boxing Day, so chances are this new fighting spirit is something that only emerged over the holiday period, bringing you to a point where as you return to work in 2013 you're ready to come out of your corner fighting. While Jupiter will remain in retrograde motion in your career sector until the 31st January, with Mercury returning to your work sector on the 19th January, the Sun on the 20th January and Venus on the 2nd February, this gives you a chance to get your work situation and matters up to speed, with Jupiter's direct turn creating a turnaround on the professional front right in the middle of your most active weeks of the year on the work front. Yet by the time Venus leaves your work sector on the 26th February there'll be no more planetary activity here this year, making the first 2 months of the year the time when you need to put everything you have into getting your work situation and matters up to speed. Keeping things in motion won't be a problem, especially with a pair of Full Moons midyear, the first on the 23rd July and the second on the 21st August. It's once you have your work situation and matters up to speed that you're able to make Jupiter's final months in your career sector count. On the 10th May Venus' return to your career sector will kick off some of your most important professional months of the year, if not the decade, the point you've been moving towards for over 12 months by that point. With Jupiter leaving your career sector on the 26th June, but Venus here from the 10th May to the 3rd June, Mercury from the 16th May to the 31st May, the Sun from the 21st May to the 21st June and Mars from the 31st May to the 14th July, the heavens are coming together to help you bring things home.

Learn About Virgo

Virgos are good at organizing stuff. Ruled by Mercury, they are neat, tidy and thoughtful people who always remember how their individual friends take their coffee. They actually have organized workshops with a place for everything and everything in its place. They are good at things like gardening and healing, because they care about details and make sure that measurements are correct to the merest gram.

Analytical Virgos tend top pick everything to pieces, even their relationships, to see how they work. They tend to worry about things that other people don't even notice. This leads to panic attacks and stomach pains that could turn into ulcers.

The trouble is that Virgos can become so hung up on details that they drive everyone crazy. Make sure you stop and just smell the roses now and then, because it just gets ugly when you turn into a nit picking pain.
