In November 2024 Pluto, the planet of change and transformation left Capricorn, where he had been since 2008 and while it took him several attempts from first trying to leave in March 2023, this brought this chapter to an end, while marking his transition into your income sector, where he will remain in 2044. Pluto not only led the way when it comes to the major changes that began in 2025 and will culminate in 2026, but this positions him for Uranus’ return to your career sector on 26th April, where he will remain for the next six years. Uranus was just one of the major planets that left a position they had been in for years to venture into something brand new.
In Uranus’ case, by the time he left a playful and creative part of your chart in July 2025, he had been there for six years, while it had been 77 years since he was last in your work sector. Four months later Uranus was back and he starts the year in a playful and creative part of your chart, where he has been since 2019. However, on 26th April, Uranus will leave again, this time not to return for another eight decades, while locking into position in your work sector for the next six years. However, while working with Pluto this sets the scene for not just a big year on the income and job fronts but for years to come, life is unlikely to become all work and no play or at least not yet.
While Uranus is settling into his early months in your work sector, the faster planets will be moving through a playful and creative part of your chart, starting with Venus’ return on 31st March and running through to when Mars leaves on 29th June. Within two weeks, the first planets will begin returning to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery, starting with Venus’ return on 10th July through to when the Sun leaves on 23rd September, only for Mars to return on 26th November, but then not leave until February 2027. Meanwhile, while having begun their transition out of your relationship sector last year, Neptune will finally leave on 27th January and Saturn on 14th February, with Jupiter not leaving your relationship sector until 30th June, this is something that can keep the communication lines open.
Love
Because Venus, the planet of love returned to Capricorn on Christmas Day 2025, she is not only still here as you move into 2026, but until leaving on 18th January, is leading the way into the New Year and giving your heart a voice from the start. At the same time, moving into both a new solar and calendar year, Venus is spending most of the month updating your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the year. This year, you will find that the bar has been raised to a point where what your heart is telling you might feel more like wishful thinking. However, what your heart knows is that for the last time for another eight decades, you have moved into the New Year with Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected in your romantic sector and for the first time in 12 years, with lucky Jupiter in your relationship sector.
Uranus will leave on 26th April, but not before Venus can return to your romantic sector and with the most romantically charged months of 2026 continuing right through to when Mars leaves on 29th June. Venus will return to your romantic sector from 31st March to 24th April, for what she will be working to make the most romantically charged weeks of any year. With Uranus leaving two days later but then not returning again until the year 2102, the planets that together rule through the laws of attraction and synchronicity are going to make these some of the most serendipitous weeks of the year on the romantic front. While it is Mars’ visit from 19th May to 29th June that will end all planetary activity on the romantic front for the year, this is giving the love gods the whole first half of the year to work their magic.
This will overlap Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion’s final months in your relationship sector before leaving on 30th June, a day after Mars wraps things up on the romantic front for the year. However, by then the planets that had been responsible for the most romantically charged months of the year will be migrating into your relationship sector and Venus will have even moved through by then. Venus will move through from 19th May to 13th June, giving the planets of love and luck time to work together. While the Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your relationships from 21st June to 23rd July, a retrograde phase will keep Mercury, the planet of communication here from 2nd June to 10th August. It is a day later that Mars will return, with the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos keeping the momentum going from 11th August to 28th September.
Money
While it might not be obvious at first or for several months for that matter, 2026 is destined to be a big year on both sides of the financial fence. As you move into the New Year, both the short and long term focus is on the income side of the financial fence, while within the first three weeks of the year, the most lucrative months of 2026 will be underway. Long term with Pluto, the planet of change and transformation entering the second full year of a 20-year transit through your income sector, you are just starting to get a feel for his influence and of where this is drawing your attention and focus. However, Pluto is playing a long game and that is not the case for the planets returning to your income sector, starting with Venus, the planet of money’s return on 18th January.
From 18th January to 10th February, Venus will be working to make these some of the most lucrative weeks of the year, but as well as support from Pluto from the start, there is even more support underway. Over just the next few days, the Sun will return, putting the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options from 20th January to 19th February and Mercury will return from 21st January to 7th February with the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet. However, the game changer will be Mars’ return, with the warrior planet of the cosmos returning to declare war on income roadblocks and barriers for the first time in two years from 23rd January to 3rd March.
Meanwhile, with Pluto in your income sector until 2044 things aren’t going to go off the boil, but he will spend from 7th May to 16th October in retrograde motion, which is when there will be time to review and when the focus will be less on new and more on the past and untapped income potential. During this time, this will give the other side of the financial fence its turn, which it is going to grab with both hands and run with it. While it is Venus’ return from 13th June to 10th July that will kick off the first planetary activity in your financial sector for the year, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, it is while she is here that on 30th June, Jupiter will return to begin your biggest year for financial growth and expansion in over a decade. This will have the support of the Sun and Mercury in the early months, but especially from Mars, who will fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit from 28th September to 26th November.
Business
While you move into the New Year with no planets in either of your two professional houses, this is the norm for this time of year. It is not usually until the Sun returns to your work sector on 21st May that things start to take off on the job front and six months later, when he returns to your career sector on 23rd September each year, he does the same on the career front. While that is still and will always be the case, this year offers something to get excited about on both fronts, with an overlap of the two. This year, you won’t have to wait for the Sun, for nearly a month earlier, Venus will return to your work sector on 24th April to kick off not just all planetary activity on the job front this year but is instead the start of six years of continuous planetary activity.
The game changer comes two days later that Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected returns on 24th April and while he spent seven months here last year before retrograding back out, this time he is not leaving until May 2033. As will be the case for all planets returning to your work and career sectors this year, they will move almost straight into a friendly aspect to Pluto in your income sector. While for Venus, the Sun, Mercury and Mars return, this will be fleeting and will get their time in your work sector off to a positive and potentially lucrative start, Uranus and Pluto will be locked together for much of 2026 and 2027. While Venus is only here until 19th May, Mercury from 17th May to 2nd June and the Sun from 21st May to 21st June, it is Mars who will really exploit this.
It is eight days after the solar spotlight shifts off work and job matters that Mars will return and from 29th June to 11th August will make these some of the busiest and most productive weeks on the job front this year. It is while Mars is still here that Venus will return to your career sector from 7th August to 10th September, kicking off the most active months of 2025 on the career front. As she did with her return earlier in the year, Venus will spend her early days at a friendly aspect to Pluto in your income sector but also to Uranus in your work sector, beginning what will be a positive end to the year on the income, work and career fronts. A day after Venus leaves Mercury will return and will be here from 11th September to 1st October and the Sun from 23rd October to 23rd October. This should end all planetary activity on the career front for the year, but Venus will retrograde back in for a do over from 25th October to 4th December.
