 Scorpio 2019

2019 Overview

Scorpio Horoscope
Jupiter’s departure from Scorpio in November brought the planet of luck and expansion’s 13 month visit to a close and with it, the foundation year to this new 12 year, Jupiter cycle of expansion. Yet until the last planet leaves Scorpio there is still some unfinished business, which is taking place in the very early days of the year. While you can never move into the New Year with the Sun still in Scorpio, you can sometimes still have Venus here, which is the case this year. Until leaving on 8th January, Venus is giving your heart a voice and having spent months with Jupiter, this is the voice you need to trust. With Jupiter gone this is a consolidation year. Having laid down foundations, planted seeds and begun new journeys last year, this is a year for the follow through.

In your income sector until 3rd December, Jupiter is also making this a potentially lucrative year, with luck on your side when it comes to earnings, but also gaining in all things that you value. Yet it is on the income front that there are some real opportunities, in the first two months of the year. Late to leave Scorpio, Venus is also late to return to your income sector, finally returning on 8th January. Until Venus leaves on 4th February, the planets of money and luck will work together, creating some of the most potentially lucrative weeks of the year. They will come back together on 2nd November, to ensure Jupiter’s final month is just as potentially lucrative. What makes the early part of the year so auspicious, is that you have Mars returning to your work sector on New Year’s Day, Uranus turning direct here on 7th January and a total lunar eclipse on the job front, on 21st January.

Mars will leave on 14th February and Uranus on 6th March, but by then your professional year will have gained more than enough momentum to keep the wheels turning across the income, work and career fronts. 2019 is also an important year for relationship building, with Mars returning to your relationship sector on the 15th February and Uranus on 6th March. While Mars is only here for six weeks, Uranus is here now until 2026. Unlike the six months Uranus spent here last year, without Jupiter in Scorpio there is no conflict or challenges. However, a clash between your personal and relationship needs in 2018 has left you with a better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. What you have this year and is a lack of challenges on the relationship front and an abundance of support, especially from the communication gods.

Love

Starting the year with Venus, the planet of love in Scorpio is just one of the benefits that matters of the heart have in the early days of the year. You will also begin the year with Mars in your romantic sector, but while he will leave on New Year’s Day, this is anything but a temporary advantage. Mars spent the last six weeks of 2018 in your romantic sector, so you begin the year with your romantic passions and fighting spirit already fuelled. This is a bell that can’t be unrung and with Venus in Scorpio until 8th January, there is no one better equipped than the planet of love to keep the romantic flame burning. However, like Mars’ final hours in your romantic sector, Venus’ final days in Scorpio are a leftover from last year’s romantic conditions.

There will be some new blood on the romantic front when Mercury returns to your romantic sector on 11th February, for what should be a 15 day visit designed to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page. Instead, Mercury is here until 17th April, with a retrograde phase from 6th March to 29th March, opening the doors to the past and second chances. With the Sun in your romantic sector from 20th February to 21st March, this is when the solar spotlight will be on matters of the heart. However, the most romantically charged weeks of 2019 are likely to be when Venus moves through from 27th March to 21st April. During this time the planet of love will be on a mission to fulfil the potential you began the year with. With dreamy Neptune here until 2026, there is no danger of romantic matters going off the boil.

It is while things are evolving on the romantic front that something special is also happening on the relationship front. It begins with Mars’ return to your relationship sector on 15th February and as he is here until 31st March, he will be here when Uranus returns on 6th March. Uranus returned last May for the first time in eight decades, to begin a journey towards creating real and authentic relationships. Having retrograded back out in November, Uranus returns on 6th March to start over again, with an opportunity for a do over. This time Uranus is now here until 2026, the same year Neptune will leave your romantic sector. This is the start of a powerful new relationship journey, with support from Mars from the get go and from the Sun, Mercury and Venus, as they move through in staggered visits to your relationship sector, from 20th April to 9th June.

Money

This is a lopsided year, with the money gods not bestowing equal favours on income and money matters. However, in their own way income and money matters get the support they need, when they need it. The balance of power is on the income side of the fence, with lucky Jupiter in your income sector until 3rd December and support keeping his momentum in play through to the very final hours of the year. Money matters, on the other hand, will get less focus from the money gods, but at a time when Jupiter is taking a break and letting income matters settle, giving money matters their turn. By the time you begin the year, Jupiter has been in your income sector for nearly two months, with the Sun gone by then. However, with Mercury here until 5th January, you will begin the year with a smart head for money and your head in the game from the get go.

However, until Venus returns on 8th January, you have yet to experience the full implications. It is when the planets of money and luck come together, which they will from 8th January to 4th February, that this lucky and auspicious income year will really come alive. And the timing couldn’t be better, for with Mars returning to your work sector on New Year’s Day and a total lunar eclipse in your career sector on 21st January, this is right in the middle of an exciting start to the year across the income, work and career fronts. After Venus’ departure on 4th February, Jupiter will continue to maintain the income momentum. The Sun, Mercury and Venus will all return to your income sector from 2nd November, in order to support Jupiter in his final weeks and to support what they began at the start of the year.

Money matters, on the other hand, are only active for a few months, beginning with Mars’ return to your financial sector on 11th February and ending with Venus’ departure on 4th July. While this is a fairly long time for ordinary planetary activity on the financial front, it is more because the planets are spread out. Mars will move through from 31st March to 16th May, fuelling your financial passions and fighting spirit before moving on. It is not until after Mars has been and gone that the Sun will turn the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters, from 21st May to 22nd June, with Mercury here from 21st May to 5th June. Slow to return to your income sector in January, Venus is slow to return to your financial sector as well, with a standalone visit from 9th June to 4th July.

Business

Regardless of how your 2018 professional year ended, the pace picks up dramatically in the New Year, with massive developments across the income, work and career fronts in January. 2018 ended with no planetary activity on the career front and with Uranus in retrograde motion on the job front. There was nothing in the final weeks of 2018 or even the final hours of December to suggest the massive shift waiting for you on the other side of the New Year. It is as though the professional gods have been waiting for the old year to end, with the pace picking up dramatically on the job front within the early hours of the year. It begins with Mars’ return to your work sector on New Year’s Day, where he will fire things up on the job front until leaving on 15th February.

If this was all, this would give you a busy start to the year, but not the game changing one you actually have. This is more the start of a ripple effect. Just six days later Uranus will turn direct here on 7th January, releasing the handbrake, which Mars will be fighting against in his early days. This is likely to result in work and job matters shooting forward. It is a day later that Venus, the planet of money will join lucky Jupiter in your income sector, kicking off some of the most lucrative weeks of not just this year, but in over a decade. If that isn’t enough to pack into the early weeks of this new professional year, a total lunar eclipse in your career sector on 21st January is likely to be a major catalyst across the income, work and career fronts. With Uranus leaving your work sector on 6th March, wrapping up a visit that began in 2010, there is a massive push to make these final months count.

Things will dial back after that, only to pick up again on the job front with the Sun’s return on 21st March. This kicks off a period that will run through to Venus’ departure on 15th May. This is both a chance to look at new work and job opportunities and to bring home everything launched the first two months of the year. With Uranus gone work and job matters really will dial back, but with lucky Jupiter in your income sector until 3rd December, this will remain a lucrative year. Jupiter will be there to support and benefit from the career opportunities that will begin opening up on 21st June and will continue to unfold through to 23rd August. This is only a two month window, but it hosts all the planetary activity on the career front this year. A Full Moon in your work sector on 14th October could be a catalyst for both income and job matters.

 About Scorpio

Scorpios are good at passion. Ruled by dark Pluto, they can turn on the other signs at 500 leagues when the wind is in the right direction. With pheromones like these, Scorpios don't need any other aid. Beyond the bedroom, Scorpios know how to make money and influence people to the degree that they can become quite powerful and respected. Intuitive and sensitive to everything that goes on around them, they can get the edge in almost any encounter. Scorpios generate the kind of excitement that draws people like magnets, and give their projects an air of mystery and secrecy. Scorpios are deeply possessive, and like to know everything about a person or enterprise they are involved with.

The trouble is, they start to enjoy manipulating, and become ruthless in pursuit of their desires. Make sure your love of power is balanced by humanity, because things get really ugly when a Scorpio goes on a power bender.
